The hotel complex “Orbel” is located at the eastern end of Dobrinishte, just above the mineral springs. The town is located 6 km from the town of Bansko, on the road to the town of Gotse Delchev.

The distance Sofia – Dobrinishte is 156 km and can be taken by car in about 2 hours. There are many signposts in the city.

The town of Dobrinishte can be reached by regular bus lines / the lines to the town of Gotse Delchev are used / or by railway transport. The railway station in Dobrinishte is the last stop of the only preserved and functioning narrow gauge railway in Bulgaria – Septemvri-Dobrinishte. It is 106 km long. and passes through three Bulgarian mountains – the Rhodopes, Rila and Pirin. Here is the highest station on the Balkan Peninsula – Avramovo station with 1267m. altitude.

The bus station and the train station are located 500 meters from the hotel, and upon prior request, a free transfer of guests to the hotel is offered.

Dobrinishte combines the best for winter and summer holidays: beautiful nature, hospitable residents, ski slopes, mineral springs with healing water, opportunities for rural and eco tourism.

In the town is the only garden of its kind in Bulgaria for edelweiss.

Mineral springs and balneotherapy

Dobrinishte has been declared a spa resort because of its famous 17 mineral springs with a temperature of 30-43 degrees. The mineral waters include 16 springs and 2 drilling wells in the Razlog hydrothermal pool. The total water flow is 18 l / sec and the temperature is 30-40 degrees Celsius. The water is clear, odorless and sediment, pleasant to drink.

Mineral water has a beneficial effect and is used to treat the following diseases:

§ renal and urological / kidney stone disease, chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis /

§ gastrointestinal / chronic gastritis, gastroduodenitis, ulcer, enterocolitis, colitis /

§ metabolic-endocrine / gout, diabetes /

§ biliary-hepatic / gallstone disease, chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholangino-hepatitis, hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia, after operative conditions /

§ chronic occupational intoxications / from lead, radionuclides, toxic substances from the pharmaceutical industry /

§ diseases of the upper respiratory tract / laryngitis, pharyngitis, rhinitis, tonsillitis

Spa treatments are offered in the public mineral bath / “Roman bath” / and the public outdoor swimming complex. With the launch of the mineral beach in the summer season of 2007, in Dobrinishte began the development of spa tourism.

Ski slopes

Dobrinishte is a resort with a base for ski tourism in winter. The track is 5 km long and has a starting point hut “Bezbog” and end point – hut “Gotse Delchev”. There is a two-seater lift; ski lifts; ski wardrobe and ski school. Ski Prices Dobrinishte

Gotse Delchev hut is located in the Logoveto area, 10 km from Dobrinishte. It is located at 1412 m above sea level. The chairlift to Bezbog hut starts from it. Next to the station there is a guarded parking lot and a heated tea room.

Bezbog hut is located next to Bezbog lake at 2236 m above sea level. It is the highest hut on the Balkan Peninsula with a breathtaking view.

6 km from Dobrinishte is the resort of Bansko, where the 8-seater gondola line, three 4-seater lifts and two anchor lifts start. The ski slopes are 16 with a total length of 70 km. Of these, for beginners are 30%, 45% for advanced and 25% for experienced. The highest point of the ski center is 2560m and the lowest 1000m.

– The church “St. St. Peter and Paul ”, built in the 19th century. and the Church of the Holy Mother of God, destroyed twice

– Historical and Ethnographic Museum Dobrinishte

– The public bathroom, located in the city park, has a male and female compartment as well as baths for private use

– The area “St. Nikola ”, where the remains of a single-nave basilica are located, the foundations of which have not yet been erased by time. Archaeological excavations are currently being carried out there

– The active monastery “St. Panteleimon”, which is located in Pirin, about 4 km northwest of the village of Obidim and about 3 km southeast of Dobrinishte. It was founded in the 1920s and is a complex of church, residential and farm building. It has been declared a cultural monument.

One of the events for which Razlog is famous is the New Year’s Carnival “THE OLD MAN”. Every year on January 1, the procession travels around the city and is constantly dancing for a long time. At the carnival can be seen the typical mummers or chaushi.
Also of interest are Dvorene Equestrian Base – Razlog, Ruzhdavets Mineral Springs and Rusaliite Equestrian Base near the village of Bachevo

Undoubtedly the most interesting and extremely well preserved antiquity in the village of Dobarsko is the church “St. St. Theodore Tyrone and Theodore Stratilat. The striking frescoes and authentic architecture of the temple make it one of the most valuable examples of Bulgarian art. This is the most richly painted church on such a small area in Bulgaria. Today, this church is best known for “the icon depicting Jesus Christ in a space rocket.” It is part of the Hundred National Tourist Sites and is among the cultural monuments under the protection of UNESCO.
